UK firm takes a bite out of Apple’s file management market.
With the upturn in Apple Mac computers in the business environment, IT managers and users are being faced with the ever increasing problem of file management and version tracking. With this in mind, CHL Software in the UK have spent the last five years developing ‘DocMoto’, which could be the answer to the business Mac user’s prayers.
Neil Cameron MD explains "We had no real idea if there would be a big enough market for the type of software we were developing, but luckily for us we backed the right horse. Five years ago Apple was just bringing out its first iPhones. Now Apple computers are appearing on desks across the world in every type of business environment, from law firms to government. Company IT managers are seeing an upturn in employees using Apple mobile devices and wanting desktop Macs in their workplace, which is a huge bonus for us!
DocMoto is a professional, high performance file management system capable of handling millions of digital files, empowering companies to keep track of all their important information, including who edited a document and who signed it off! DocMoto looks and feels just like the Apple Mac operating system, which speeds up the learning curve and creates a seamless user experience. We spent over a year just gathering user’s requirements, and have worked with over 500 organisations during the development period. We are excited about the launch of our baby and now users and companies will instantly see the benefit of such a powerful software system.”
Registration to obtain an evaluation version of DocMoto is now available from CHL’s web site.
